Ecological monitoring at Raposeira Wind Farm during construction phase and first year of post-construction of the wind farm. Full annual cycle of bird and bat censuses were conducted by ornithologists and bat specialists during 2014. Bat territory and overall bat conservation issues were studied by means of field ultra-sound recordings and data analysis. Soaring bird migration was monitored based on bird counts and mapping movements at vantage points. Bird and bat mortality searches were conducted in areas around wind turbines and under the power line.
