STRIX was responsible for the environmental studies of Eneólica's Wind Farm in Serra d'Aire, Batalha, Portugal. This project has a 20 Megawatts (MW) installed capacity and has now been approved by the Portuguese Government.

This wind farm is the third wind project authorized by this Secretariat of State under the wind power tendering procedures carried out in 2008 and 2009, for a total of 68 MW, equivalent to a potential investment of 74 million euros and is one more contribution to the production of clean energy in Portugal.

The success of the environmental licensing was the result of a collaborative process between STRIX, the Promoter and the Project Team.

STRIX's environmental consultant, Luís Silva, says: "Projects like this are a challenge, but they are also very professionally satisfying. This was a great example of a good teamwork that turns projects into reality."
